Montevideo, Uruguay, Dec 3, 2015 - The FeVA-FIVB Argentine Volleyball Regional Development Centre (CDRV) keeps working without end towards improving Volleyball all over South American Region and this time it ended its last 2015 international activity, the International Coach Level I Course in Montevideo with 29 of a total of 38 students approving the same. At the closing ceremony, as usual, attended the CDRV Director Lic. Gabriel Salvia.
The CDRV together with the Uruguayan Volleyball Federation organized the course that started on the 18th of November ending on the 29th. This has been the second international coach course in the country showing the willingness of Uruguay to improve its volleyball level getting new knowledge.
The FeVA-FIVB Argentine Volleyball Regional Development Centre works without stop training all over the Region at different levels and after the Beach Volleyball International Referee in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the Setting Course that took place in Comodoro Rivadavia, today together with the Uruguayan Volleyball Federation they opened an International Coaches Level I course in the city of Montevideo that will last up to November 29th. It is the second time that such course takes place in Uruguay showing their willingness to learn about volleyball.
The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Uruguayan Volleyball Federation (that already celebrated one hundred years), Julio Perez; the Director of the CDRV, Gabriel Salvia and representing the FIVB the Course Director, Aurelio Ureña (Spain) and the Instructor Ruben Sainz (Cuba). Also at the official ceremony were FUV Vice-President, Guido Salvo and the Under-Secretary, Ruben Urrutia.
“We welcome you and thank your presence at this important course. For Uruguayan volleyball it is with pride that we organize this course once more, showing our willingness to train. We welcome also our brothers from Argentina, Chile and Peru having had also registration from Bolivia” expressed the President, Julio Perez.
“With the support of the Uruguayan Volleyball Federation the CDRV fulfils its creation goals and the ones of the FIVB, to train in as many places of the South American Continent. For me it is a great pleasure to be once more here, were we have carried out mini volleyball training” added CDRV Director, Gabriel Salvia.
“I admire those countries that criticize knowledge and search for new training to keep growing. This is what Uruguay is showing us. I hope that all these new knowledge is useful and important for all and that you share it with other coaches because through you volleyball grows” emphasized the Course Director and FIVB Instructor, Aurelio Ureña.
As soon as the official opening was over the course took place in the hands of Ruben Sainz from Cuba.
