THE ARGENTINE SENIOR'S WOMEN TEAM IS READY FOR THE NEXT TWO MATCHES OF THE FIVB WORLD CUP WITH A RECORD OF 2-1

Argentina goes on in Hiroshima for the second round

Hiroshima, Japan, November 7, 2011 - With a record of 2 victories over three matches played already, the Argentine Senior's Women Team will face Italy (title holder) this Tuesday at 15.00 local time, while Pool B moved to Toyama. Then it will be time to face China.

There is this year's background of a match between Italy and Argentina, the Grand Prix with the European team winning 3-1 in the first exhibition of the light blue - white jersey team growth and improvement. At the FIVB World Cup Argentina could not defeat Italy either.

Prior to the match the Argentine coach, Horacio Bastit expressed: "We know that it will be very hard, we are aware of the strong they are but there is a difference, they want to win and we will be satisfy if we win one set against the title holder team".

Argentina shares Pool A with four very powerful teams, Brazil, Serbia, Germany and China - all five sharing each 6 points in the general ranking.

Italy and Argentina won the last match played with the South American team overcoming Algeria 3-1 while Italy on Sunday defeated Dominican Republic 3-0.
