OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE TECHNICAL SEMINAR OVER SERVING/DIGGING/LIBERO IN CHARGE OF THE FIVB CDRV IN ARGENTINA

The opening ceremony in one of Cenard Halls

Buenos Aires, Argentina, November 25, 2011 - This Friday morning, started a new training activity carried out by the FIVB Argentine Volleyball Development Regional Centre (CDRV). At Cenard facilities in the city of Buenos Aires, the official opening took place in one of its halls. The Serving/Digging/Libero Seminar will go on until next Tuesday, November 29th with the theoretical activity starting immediately after the official opening.

The lecturer named by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) is Lic. Argelio Pascual Hernández Rodríguez from Cuba, who joint the official opening ceremony together with Lic. Gabriel Salvia, Director of the FIVB CDRV of Argentina and Lic. Mario Moccia, representing the Argentine Olympic Committee.

Salvia started the ceremony thanking the presence of all the participants and also those in charge of working to carry out such an important Seminar, underlining the pleasure that in this Seminar there were again coaches that already came to Argentina to participate of other activities carried out before by the CDRV.

The Cuban Hernández, also expressed his thank and the goal, that at the same time of teaching and training, is to share complete days with matters that have to do with volleyball. Moccia, finally, closed the opening ceremony reconfirming the support of the Olympic Committee to all CDRV ventures, that head towards a very important fact and is to train human resources for Sport.

Twenty nine participants include the Seminar with some from Argentina but also including people from Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay and Paraguay.

This activity wil be the last one of the CDRV during this 2011 calendar, that also included the International Coaching Course - Level I, one Volleyball Information System (VIS) Course, both carried out in the first part of the year.
