THE ARGENTINE SENIORS' MEN TEAM IS ALREADY IN THE CITY OF HAMAMATSU, WHERE IT WILL FACE A VERY HARD THIRD ROUND

Argentina at the FIVB World Cup in Japan

Hamamatsu, Japan, November 25, 2011 - After the matches v Cuba and Iran (1-1 record), the Argentine Seniors' Men Team travelled to Hamamatsu arriving this Friday evening, where it will face in the third round of the FIVB World Cup, its "classical" rival, Brazil; Russia and Italy, all three very strong teams that play at the best level of the world. The team coached by Javier Weber travelled four hours from Osaka to Hamamatsu and is already resting at its new venue.

Argentina is hosted at Crown Palais Hotel, where on Sunday at 15.00 local time - (3.00 Argentine time) they will face their historical South American rival, Brazil first. The team will train for the first time in the new site the Hamamatsu Arena on Saturday morning at 9.30.

The trip of the Argentine team was held with the team paying attention to the results of the other matches as they play on the morning. The team stands with 9 points in the fifth place and therefore it becomes harder the Olympic qualification in this demanding competition (only the three best teams out of 12 qualify) but London stands among the goals of the team.

The three Hamamatsu rivals stand over Argentina with similar results. Brazil and Russia with the leader Poland stand on the top with 12 points - a record of 4-1 while Italy with 11 points has the same record (4-1).
