ARGENTINA TRAINED IN HAMAMATSU WAITING FOR THE HARD "CLASSICAL" SOUTH AMERICAN MATCH V BRAZIL AT THE FIVB WORLD CUP

Hamamatsu, Japan, November 26, 2011 - The Argentine Seniors' Men Team trained this Saturday morning (Japan time) at the huge Hamamatsu Stadium, venue they will be using for the third round of the FIVB World Cup, that qualifies the best three teams directly for the 2012 London Olympic Games. The team coached by Javier Weber arrived to this city on Friday evening being hosted at Crown Palais Hotel.

In this city the light blue - white jersey team will face three strong teams - all standing in the ranking over the South American team, Brazil, Russia and Italy, playing on November 27th, 28th and 29th respectively. Brazil stands 3rd, Russia 2nd and Italy 4th.

This Sunday, at 15.00 local time (3.00 Argentine time), Argentina will face Brazil that in the last clash between both teams at the South American Championship in Cuiabá, won 3-1. All three rivals teams arrive to this stage with a record of 4-1. The Brazilian defeat was against Italy in a tie-breaker definition and in their last match overcame China 3-2.

In the afternoon, the officlal Press Conference with all coaches took place.

Argentina will play its 6th match with a record of 3-2 (defeated Serbia, Cuba and Japan) and was overcome by the leader Poland and Iran.
