NEW POSITIVE BALANCE FOR THE ARGENTINE BOYS' YOUTH TEAM PARTICIPATING AT THE ACLAV MEN SENIOR'S A2 UPGRADING LEAGUE

Another A2 positive experience for the young national team

Buenos Aires, Argentina, February 15, 2012 - For seventh consecutive season the Argentine Boys' Youth Team participated of the ACLAV Argentine Men Senior's A2 upgrading league and as in all prior experiences, the young team wins competing on a regular basis, concentrating, travelling and training daily, something new for many of its members. The balance done by its coaches, Fabián Muraco and Julián Alvarez is highly positive.

"The A2 League gives us a bigger experience for the development of the players" started Muraco. "Many of the young players started volleyball in this high demanding competition and had to face even foreign players, in a very short time, with only 50 days of previous work but anyhow it was very positive. We could mix the youth with the junior players that had no competition experience (Alegret, Monzón, Liand, Assaf) and that is also very good" added the coach.

Alvarez shared the thought: "The balance was good. It was good to combine youth and junior players in one team with all of them showing growth. No doubt, it was a very positive experience".

With reference to the seasoning of each season, Muraco added: "We had a hard start, with many of the youth players participating of the U Youth South American Championship and then having to recover in their high school studies. There were also some questioning on the competition, but volleyball comes back from its ashes. Everything went smooth afterwards and it finished being a great League with 9 strong teams, and with some experienced reinforcements".

Now, while the A2 is coming to an end, the next path of the Junior and Youth Teams is being settled. In March new players will be watched and in April training will start. Muraco will coach the Junior Team (1993/94) while Alvarez will do the same with the boys born 1995/96.
