CONDE-ZORRILLA WON THE LAST AND 9TH STOP OF AN INTENSIVE ARGENTINE NATIONAL SUMMER BEACH VOLLEYBALL TOUR

Impressive night frame for the final matches in Tunuyan

Mendoza, Argentina, March 25, 2012 - Tunuyán has been a "classical" beach volleyball stop in the north of the country, very far from any beach or sand place for the last years and this time, with a double gender Argentine National Summer Beach Volleyball Stop it enjoyed the best teams of the country. Conde, who won the first stop beginning of January in Mar del Plata together with Del Soto, this time got the crown with a new pair, Zorrilla. Martín and Juan Simón defeated Juan Manuel Andreoni-Alejandro Ronconi in a terrific match. The Bronze medal was for Fernández-Versaali while the women competition was won by Amieva-Túliz.

With the fans overcrowding the venue, the final match was very tied, finishing 2-0 (21-19, 21-18) with Conde and Zorrilla (playing together for the first time in this final stop). While for Conde it was the second title, for Zorrilla it was the first in this 2012 season after winning two in the 2011 season, Rosario and Cabrera.

The Bronze Medal was won by Gabriel Fernández-Angel Verzzali, overcoming the local team of Emir Andraos-Matías Scattareggia.

At the women competition, the two teams that arrived first on Saturday to Semi-Finals faced each other at the final. Florencia Amieva-Eugenia Túliz after defeating another surprise team of the stop, the sisters Florencia and Michela Di Cesare (14-16 years old).

With the season coming to an end after a very intensive three months competition the balance is very positive showing over all new senior combinations and very talented young teams that promise lots of action in the future.
