Mendoza, Argentina, July 6, 2012 - During the intensive tour at Cuyo Region the President of the Argentine Volleyball Federation, Juan Antonio Gutiérrez visited the new state-of-the-arts Beach Volleyball Development Centre that will start to work with the support of ENARD in the city of Tunuyán, Mendoza Province. The site will be the fourth that will work intensively towards the growth of beach volleyball in Argentina in charge of Andraos and Carlos Amieva, two knwon athletes of that activity in the Region.

The Centre, that stands at a place given by the city of Tunuyán City Hall, will open its doors with two fields, one already built and one that is being built now, this July. The Complex includes sport hosting with 60 places, swimming pool and a wide place with all concentration facilities.

Gutiérrez, great believer of the growth that can boost Argentine beach volleyball in the whole country visited the facilities together with Andraos, Amieva and Tunuyán Sport Director, Enrique Romero, who was present with his right hand, David Alvarez.

The visit included the field already built and finished, the dinning room and all facilities. "It is a great place that will allow the development and the work of many players. We are very happy to be able to have such a place for beach volleyball and thank the support of the City Hall and its engagement in the project. The ENARD, main support of all Development Centres, approved this Centre due to the seriousness of the project" added FeVA President, Juan Antonio Gutiérrez.

For Emir Andraos “it is a great support basic for the development of players of all this region. The presence of FeVA President, that since he started participating at the FeVA Beach Volleyball National Secretariat boosted this place, makes us very proud an confirms the confidence they gave us. I will work with men and boys athletes and coordinate the physical work while he will be the responsible person in charge of the girls and women athletes. Our main goal is to add new talented players to the National project, giving training, knowledge and the necessary tools to grow and improve their game We must reach the point of training players that become very important at national level offering them important competitions".

Gutierrez thought that in this Development Centre the activity could start with winter competitions to broadcast the activity while Andraos added that this will open the chance of San Juan players to work there (in San Juan also two fields will be built in the new site of the San Juan Volleyball Federation) and those of San Luis.

Already are working Beach Volleyball Development Centres in Rosario (in charge of Ariel Olmedo), Entre Ríos (Miguel León) and Mar del Plata (Pablo Bernardi and Martín Conde).
