The meeting was very positive for long-run projects

Mendoza, Argentina, July 11, 2012 - The Argentine Volleyball Federation President (FeVA) Juan Antonio Gutiérrez held last week a very important meeting with the Mendoza Province Sport Secretary, Marcelo Locamuz, at the Sport Secretariat venue at the World Stadium of that province. In the meeting common interests were presented to develop Volleyball all over the province with the chance of organizing international competitions in Mendoza city.

At the meeting were also the Mendoza Director for High Output, Alberto Vandalda; the Mendoza Volleyball Federation President, Enrique Castillo, the 5th FeVA Vice-President and person in charge of the National Sport Organization Secretariat, Celia Montarulli and the person in charge of Tunuyán Beach Volleyball Development Centre and also leader of the Under-Commission of Beach Volleyball of the province, Emir Andraos.

The meeting lead to talking about the present and future of Volleyball in the province and all over the country while Locamuz pointed out to Gutiérrez the importance of broadcasting international volleyball competitions in the province with state-of-the-arts stadiums and with great organization committees. FeVA President visited Mendoza awhile the U 16 Girls' National Championship was being held, visiting the new Sport Centre in the city of San Martín (see picture).

Locamuz confirmed that “Mendoza has the necessary facilities to be venue for great events” adding his wish to hold the FIVB World League in the province: "We have great stadiums and sport centres prepared to welcome the Argentine National Team".

At the meeting, FeVA president announced the opening of Tunuyán Beach Volleyball Development Centre, with the goal of developing the sport in the province and support all talented players of the Region with the important support of the National Sport Secretariat.
