London, Great Britain, July 28, 2012 - An historical moment comes ahead of the Argentine Seniors' Men Team as this Sunday, for all of the players it will be the first Olympic Game ever played, with the debut in Pool A facing Australia. Argentina will have its first match at 10.45 Argentine time playing against a team coached by another Argentine coach, Jon Uriarte.

After a very intensive training in Poland, Argentina and the United States played a sort of friendly match on Thursday at Earls Court as the start of the Olympic tournament is quickly approaching. They eventually drew 2-2 and as US American star Matthew Anderson says, “it was a good warm-up especially since we have not had a game in weeks. We were able to fix some problems and Argentina showed they are very good”.

Javier Weber expressed to TyC Sports Argentine channel: "Now comes the moment we have been waiting and preparing for the last four years. We are ready. We are aware we are not a tall team, that knows that we are a technical team that must now its virtues and limitations and we are on that path".

In the previous day, the team trained at the training field and watched some videos about its first rival, Australia. The background of both teams facing each other gives an advantage to Argentina by 4-1, even though the last official match was at the Japan Olympic Qualification competition 2008, won by Australia - then back in time and considering friendly matches Argentina won two friendly matches played in Buenos Aires province in a friendly tour in 2010. The match that opened the 2002 World Championship in Argentina was the first time both countries with the same coaches, Weber and Uriarte faced each other at the Luna Park venue in Buenos Aires city.

The match will be the third of the first day for men teams in Earls Court, venue of all indoor Olympic matches, and the first of Argentine dream:
