Iwanowski-Rouzic, once more together in a new grass-root category beach World Championship

Halifax, Canada, August 28, 2012 - Time for a new Argentine participation at the most important beach volleyball championships in the world. This Thursday starts in Canada the 2012 Juniors' World Championship and for Argentina the Santa Fe pair of Lisandro Rouzic and Mateo Iwanowski in what is their second presentation at a World event as they represented the country at the Youth's in their background.

This Monday, the Argentine team together with their coach, Santiago Etchegaray from Mar del Plata and the official Jorge Torres representing the Argentine Volleyball Federation arrived to Halifax after arriving to Toronto airport first. Last year also the same event took place in this important city and this Wednesday with the Women's competition the event goes on until Sunday, September 2nd.

The talented Argentine team concentrated in Mar del Plata last Sunday, August 12th with double shift training under the coaching of Pablo Del Coto, another of the best Argentine beach volleyball athlete. They have been training at Club Cedetalvo and at San Sebastian resort with the support of other beach players as Etchegaray, Pablo Suárez, Julián Azaad, Ian Mehamed, Facundo Del Coto and Ángel Verzzali.

Rouzic prior to the competition expressed to the local Media, the importance of FeVA in the goal of growing all beach volleyball activities. "Without their growing support, bigger than prior years, we would not have beach volleyball players improving all over the country. It is very important that this goes on and even improves as we can dream on big projects and keep developing the activity".

Also, the Santa Fe player talked about this competition: "We do not know the level of the other teams we will face but last year's participation helps us. We only have it very clear that we want to leave Argentina as high as possible" he added.
