The venue in CeDeTalVo, now heated

Mar del Plata, Argentina, September 14, 2012 - The news is already part of today's beach volleyball in Argentina. This Friday started in the resort city of Mar del Plata the event that inaugurated the first historical beach volleyball heated field of the country, located at CeDeTalVo and that no doubt, it is a pride and a great advance for the Argentine Volleyball Federation in its path of betting every day more for the growth of Beach Volleyball in Argentina.

The indoor field of the Mar del Plata club is the first one in Argentina with heated sand, in the venue that usually concentrate all national beach volleyball teams and where also works one of the Beach Volleyball Development Centre of the country. It will have a great use all year round and that makes the difference that will in the future just be one of many, all over the country.

Lots of activities are programmed during these three days opening organized by the Argentine Volleyball Federation together with the Province of Buenos Aires Sport Secretariat and the Ente Municipal de Deportes y Recreación (EMDeR) from Mar del Plata.

Added to the indoor beach volleyball heated field, there will be outside matches in two fields. This Friday the games were organized for grass-root categories only, U 16 and U 18, as the FeVA looks very deeply to improve and develop the grass-root categories. Action started mid-day and lasted until the evening at about 20.00.

This Saturday, the best beach volleyball pairs of this grass-root categories will play semi-finals and the final matchand the champion will face in a four-team friendly competition the best National Teams. They are: Santiago Etchegaray-Pablo Suárez, Ian Mehamed-Julián Azaad and Facundo Del Coto-Juan Simón Zorrilla.

The competition will start on Saturday ending on Sunday while on Sunday morning there will be an open clinic of beach volleyball with Etchegaray, Mehamed and Azaad as lecturers.

Also in this historical weekend, there will be indoor mini volleyball activities for about 200 local children on Saturday morning and four-players teams for U 14 and U 16 categories on Sunday morning.
