New and first heated beach volleyball field of the country

Mar del Plata, Argentina, September 16, 2012 - The pair of Pablo Suarez-Santiago Echeegaray, the best one of the Argentine ranking during the last five seasons, won the "Argentina a country with good people" Cup held at the Mar del Plata Talented Volleyball Players Development Centre (Centro de Desarrollo de Talentos del Vóley de Mar del Plata [Ce.De.Tal.Vo]), as part of the celebration of the inauguration of the first indoor heated sand beach volleyball venue of the country, organized by the FeVA, EMDER, Ce-De.Tal.Vo and the support of Buenos Aires team Event Department.

At the final facing Facundo Del Coto-Juan Simón Zorrilla v Suárez-Echegaray, the first ranked team of the country won the match by 2-0 warming up their engines for the season that comes soon and promises great competitions with different stops of the Argentine Winter Circuit and of course, all the ones of the summer 2013.

The bronze medal was won by the young team of Ian Mehamed-Julián Azaad, pair that promises a great future and that defeated in two straight sets the pair representing Argentina at the last Juniors' World Championship in Cyprus, Facundo Funes-Samuel De Elorza.

On a sunny and warm Sunday the three-day party was closed at Ce.De.Tal.Vo, with the presence of FeVA President, Juan Antonio Gutiérrez; the President of the Sport And Recreation City Hall Entity (EMDER), Horacio Taccone; together with one of the Directors, Andrés Macció; Buenos Aires Unidos players, Iván Márquez from Venezuela and Guillaume Samicá from France and lots of players - of both genders that also participated of Seniors' competition in the city, in what was a complete volleyball festival for the whole Mar del Plata resort city.

At the indoor field of Ce.De.Tal.Vo, that inaugurated the heated sand system, will train during the whole year the Argentine Beach Volleyball teams that will represent the country at different international competitions (both genders and all categories) in what is a great beat on the future of beach volleyball for the Argentine Volleyball Federation just looking behind with the country having had Olympic players in all editions since the year 1996.

velop so from our place we support all what they start" expressed Horacio Taccone, in charge of the EMDER. "We can say that the season starts, one that promises a lot and we will work a lot for our beach volleyball" he added.

Prior to the great final match several awards were handed over: To the U 16 Juniors' Ce.De.Tal.Vo - that won the San Jeronimo tournament and qualified for the Argentine Cup in their category that will take place in Chapadmalal; also to José Sarquis, historical coach and one of the founders of Ce.De.Tal.Vo, and that was applauded by all spectators and players; Facundo Funes and Kevin Gutiérrez, champions of the first edition of beach volleyball at the Buenos Aires Games 20120; and last the players of Buenos Aires Unidos gave FeVA President, Juan Antonio Gutiérrez in recognition for the great effort in supporting and broadcasting the venue of the Volleyball World Challenge Cup, that starts this Tuesday at Once Unidos in the city of Mar del Plata.
