BOCA JUNIORS WON THE U 16 GIRLS ARGENTINE CUP

Boca is the new champion

Chapadmalal, Argentina, October 4, 2012 - The U 16 Girls' Argentine Cup has a new champion. This Thursday afternoon after the final match of the 2012 edition in a competition that every time grows more, with an historical record of 32 teams in each gender, at the resort city of Chapadmalal, Boca Juniorrs overcame Municipalidad de Cordoba to be claimed new champion. The Bronze Medal was won by El Tala while Micaela Mondino of this last team was claimed the MVP.

In the morning of Thursday's last day of this competition, Boca had to defeat El Tala in a tie-breaker terrific match to reach the final match while on one of the other fields, the surprised team of Municipalidad de Cordoba overcame Nautico Hacoaj 3-1 to qualify for its first final match.

El Tala overcame Hacoaj 3-0 to win the Bronze Medal while Freyre also in a tie-breaker over Velez finished fifth and Argentino de Machagai over Huracan Recreo finished seventh.

At Miramar venue, Ateneo de Santiago del Estero defeated San Antonio Oeste to win the Copper Cup while, in Chapadmalal, San Josee in a tie-breaker definition overcame Club Italiano to win the Bronze Cup. The Silver Cup was a terrific match show finishing nearly at the same time as the final match with Italiana de Charata overcoming Gimnasia de Rosario after starting losing, 3-2

The final match showed a crowded venue, with Boca winning the 2012 edition.
