TIME FOR THE U 14 ARGENTINE CUP

The Chapadmalal sportcentre full of grass-root participants

Chapadmalal, Argentina, October 6, 2012 - This Saturday starts the last 2012 Argentine Volleyball Federation grass-root competition with the U 14 Argentine Cup also being held in the resort city of Chapadmalal, that enjoyed three very intensive weeks of volleyball starting with the U 18, to follow with an historical U 16 (32 teams of each gender) and lots of meetings with the goal of keeping the improvement and development of Argentine Volleyball. Until next Wednesday, the smallest children category will fill the Complex with laughts, competition and friendship.

Simultaneously, the FIVB-FeVA Argentine Volleyball Regional Development Centre (CDRV) will host a "Volleyball All Festival" for Mini-Volleyball children with the participation of hundreds of school children of the event.

With this competition the new FeVA management with finish its first complete season with grass-root competitions that include the National Championships and the Clubs Argentine Cups for both genders U 18, U 16 & U 14. With the new format to compete, with an only venue for all three categories at the Argentine Cups, with a new qualification process, changes could be felt all the way through making them more interesting and even more attainable for Clubs from the smallest towns of the country, with several of them participating for the fist time in their life in a national competition. From Salta to Formosa to the south in Chubut, a very extensive country landscape teams arrived to enjoy grass-root competition and what it means for hundred of children to live such experience.

Friday afternoon the first delegations arrived as on Saturday will start the official activity at Chapadmalal venue with its seven fields living one of the volleyball parties as they were the other prior categories. Miramar will be the secondary venue for some important matches as it did before.

Over 150 people are involved in the organization that hosts thousands of children during a three week period of our country, hosting, giving food and preparing the playing fields (judges, referees, coaches, statistic people, etc. for all of them in a first class competition ready for all the needs required by each delegation.
