Álvarez coached a Volleyball Talent Identification Training for U-Youth's

Entre Rios, Argentina, October 18, 2012 - Something very unusual happened a few days ago when about 20 players from different provinces that will participate of the Argentine Youth's Boys team next year were part of the volleyball talent identification training camp in La Paz. The work was coached by Julian Alvarez and followed by a great audience, something very unusual when chosing talented players. The fact to watch those that will represent the country in international competitions in national teams never happened before to the point that each training was held in crowded stadium, cheering players and coaching staff.

The experience was so positive that province officials evaluated to return to official competitions for that city teams. Headed by Jorge Torres, 4th FeVA Vice-President and the treasurer of the Entre Rios Volleyball Federation (FEV) and also Guillermo Escanes, coach of the U 18 Entre Rios Volleyball Team, the Voleyball Talented Identification Training Camp for local and neighbourhood towns was held under the supervision of the Argentine Volleyball Federation.

This concentration has no background in the city of La Paz and was done thanks to the participation of Ezequiel Lavayén, Federated Sport Director of the Province and officials of La Paz City Hall.

Back in Buenos Aires where the Youth's Concentrated preparing for the next South American Championship Alvarez talked with a newspaper, EL DIARIO expressing his experience: "It was very motivated to start training with such an important audience because it is not usual. Students, teachers and people in general crowded the Gym at Club Comercio e Industria and that gave us more strenght to work towards the Argentine teams”. "It was grateful not to mention that coaches from the area also watched our training learning from it".

From this ttalent identitication training camps he added "will come out those players representing Argentina at next year's under-youth team, playing their South American Championship. The goal is to add players that this summer will participate of the A2 Argentine upgrading Seniors' League that starts next month".

Julian has been watching players at different concentrations, National Championships, Argentine Cups and different competitions along the last two years.

La Paz was the second concentration after Villa María (Córdoba), gathering young players from San Juan, Buenos Aires province, Santa Fe and Entre Ríos. Also some players of the host city were studied because as the coach mentioned - La Paz can become a very important volleyball venue for school volleyball in the near future.

“La Paz has several different school competitions and the Juegos Comunitarios, with teams of the whole province and also at national level" finished saying the coach.
