Fundarte, that was one of the Pools in the lasst season qualified for the new one, too

Buenos Aires, Argentina, August 7, 2013 - After a new successful formula to make the Argentine Women Teams League grow during the last season, as it also happened with the Men's A2 upgrading League, making them also more federative, organized together by the Argentine Volleyball Federation (FeVA) and the Argenntine Volleyball Teams League Association (ACLAV), this season's Women A1 League already started to the point that some teams qualified at Regional level.

At NOA Region, Fundarte de Tucuman end of July won for fouth consecutive year and with this title qualified to participate at the second phase of the Argentine Women League. At the final match they defeated CEF de Catamarca, that as finalist also qualified for the next round.

In South Patagonia the provinces of Santa Cruz and Chubut will play a six teams competition in each gender with three teams of each province. The women competition will take place on the weekend of August 16th - 18th (Santa Cruz teams are Juan B. Rocha de Rio Gallegos, Cruz del Sur de Gdor. Gregores and Universitario de Caleta Olivia), while the men's competition will take place August 30th - September 1st for the A2 League.

Each region will qualify their teams for the second round, that will take place in different cities combining teams from different parts of the country as it happened last year. The third round last year had 12 teams competing represeenting all the regions of the country.
