As it happened in Gstaad the Argentine girls qualified for the Main Draw

Berlin, Germany, August 7, 2013 - Thanks to the good performance of Ana Gallay-Georgina Klug, the Argentine Beach Volleyball will once more participate at this season's Grand Slam of the FIVB World Tour. This Wednesday, the Argentine girls overcame the qualy of the seventh competition of the year and tomorrow, Thursday they will start at the Main Draw.

As seventh favourite team at the Qualy, Gallay-Klug had bye match in the first round and played directly the second round with all eight winner pairs competing then at the Main Draw. Their rivals were Braakman-Vaan der Vlist (NED) winning 2-0 (21-18, 21-16).

Therefore the girls repeated their first result at Gstaad, Switzerland Grand Slam and this will be their third participation of the Women's Grand Slam Main Draw. The first one was in Corrientes, Argentina at the second stop of the season.

The Argentine team was together with Brazil, Agatha-Antonelli the only South American teams to overcome the Qualy as the Colombian Galindo-Galindo and the Chilean Rivas-Pazirek were eliminated.
