The Argentine Seniors' celebrated their second consecutive victory

Cabo Frio, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, August 8, 2013 - Another step forward for the Argentine Seniors on their way to qualify for the Polish World Championship 2014. In the third date, second match for the team coached by Javier Weber as yesterday they had a free date, the light blue - white team overcame Paraguay 3-0 (25-13, 25-10, 25-15). For the first time in the history the South American Championship qualifies both best teams for next year's most important competition.

Argentina showed new faces at the start line-up. Luciano De Cecco was the setter, Pablo Kukartsev played his first match from the start as opposite player, Pablo Crer and Martin Ramos were the middle players and Agustin Ramonda and Pablo Bengolea, the wing spikers and Santucci the libero.

With these faces the national team had no problems in defeating Paraguay that also showed a poorer performance and many unforced errors. While Ramos closed the first set, the second one was finished by the new comer, Kukartsev.

On the third set Paraguay showed a better output but only at the beginning till the 10-10. There, with the participation of the third debut player for the light blue - white team, from Formosa Ezequiel Palacios (in the second set) Weber boys broke the rival fight.

This Friday, depending on the result of both matches Argentina could already qualify for the World Championship. At 17.30 they will face Colombia, that defeate Chile 3-2. Chile will also close this Friday its participation facing Brazil.
