Buenos Aires, Argentina, October 7, 2013 - With the basic and very important idea of making beach volleyball very popular, the Argentine Volleyball Federation (FeVA) goes on working hard all over the country to fulfil the goal of growing the quality and quantity of athletes that play beach volleyball. Therefore, FeVA President, Juan Antonio Gutierrez expressed: "We will summon all the province federations to organize a tournament for grass-root players and obtain the identification of very talented players all over the country. We also look forrward to create new Development Centres all over Argentina".

The goal is to formulate a participating formula for beach volleyball that becomes a master plan. "We must reach players, clubs, parents and all communication groups" went on saying Gutierrez.

For the year 2014 a Working Plan will be presented related to the 2018 Youth's Olympic Games that will take place in Argentina. The idea to identify and make training athletes in each and every province, also goes along with training for officials, referees, coaches, etc.

During the several Argentine Cups held in Chapadmalal many meetings took place with reference to this matter. Among the most important ones, the one of Thursday, October 3rd was held to talk about beach volleyball with the participation of Gutierrez, Estela Isola (Salta), Carlos Amieva (Mendoza), Ariel Soncini (La Pampa), Gabriel Fernandez (Cordoba Supporter), Fabian Altamirano (Mar del Plata Official), Andres Soriano (General Manager of the Argentine Beach Volleyball Teams), Pablo Bernardi (Chief of the Technical Coaching Team), Martin Medina (Representing Referees) and Jose María Cuadrillero (Neuquen) as official together with Jorge Torres, de Entre Rios.


- To search for Province delegates that know very well all the needed staff duties - officials, coaches - referees and mainly that take the responsibility of non-stop training.

- To generate a National Sport Calendar prevailing the International Calendar (over all the South American Tour stops) that will be discussed October 24th - 25th at the Beach Volleyball meeting that will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

- A concentration will take place in Entre Rios for Youth beach volleyball players November 8th - 10th in the city of Basalvivaso for U 17 grass-root players.

- The second concentration will take place in Tunuyan, Mendoza, November 15th - 17th.

- The third concentration will take place in Salta, November 22nd - 24th.

Added to the concentrations and identification of talented players the idea is to promote in each community the participation at beach volleyball activities.


October 19th - November 4th - A tour in Asia

November 6th - 8th - Competition for grass-root categories in Asuncion, Paraguay.

December 3rd - 13th - 3rd Beach South American Games in Vargas, Venezuela

Starting March 15th, 2014 - Odesur Games in Chile
