SOUTH AMERICAN U YOUTH'S BOYS CHAMP: ARGENTINE ROSTER

The U Youth's Boys Team ready for the Continental competition

Buenos Aires, Argentina, November 12, 2013 - While the girls are competing at their South American U Youth's Girls Championship in Colombia, the boys are preparing themselves for the same competition to be held in Brazil, December 2nd - 9th at the most important Brazilian training centre in the city of Saquarema.

After a new training concentration held at Cenard facilities in the city of Buenos Aires, the coach, Julian Alvarez gave the 12 player roster that will participate of the last official international competition for an Argentine National Team.

The roster that will participate at Brazilian soul includes:

Setters:
Matias Giraudo (Rivadavia Villa María - Cordoba)
Santiago Sauro (Nautico Avellaneda - Rosario)

Opposite players:
Lucas Sferrayo (Club de Amigos - Buenos Aires)
Giuliano Di Pangrazio (Sonder - Rosario)

Middle players:
Sergio Soria (Ciudad de Buenos Aires - Buenos Aires)
Liam Arreche (Club de Amigos - Buenos Aires)
Juan Bucciarelli (Co.De.Ba. - San Juan)

Wing spikers:
Felipe Benavidez (Club de Amigos - Buenos Aires)
Jan Martinez (Ciudad de Buenos Aires - Buenos Aires)
Jose Graffigna (Banco Hispano - San Juan)
Ignacio Espelt (Club de Amigos - Buenos Aires)

Libero:
Rodrigo Michelón (Boca Juniors - (Buenos Aires)

The preparation of the Argentine Team was very demanding, with many of the players participating of the last season of the Argentine A2 Seniors' upgrading League organized by the ACLAV together with several youth players.

Afterwards, the U Youth team players participated of several concentrations including venues like Benito Juarez (Buenos Aires prov.), Victoria (Entre Roos) or Villa Ocampo (Santa Fe), added to the U 23 Argentine Cup, where they won the title showing their talent and growth as grass-root players.

With the 12 names the team will have still another concentration period end of November prior to their trip to Brazil for the continental competition.
