ACLAV CUP: SIX TEAMS TOWARDS THE CROWN

Formosa and Sarmiento will host the Final 6

Buenos Aires, Argentina, November 20, 2013 - Five days of full Volleyball action in Formosa and Chaco as host venues of the Final 6 of the Argentine ACLAV Seniors' Men Cup, that this weekend will crown the new champion for the edition of the season 2013/14. Six teams will compete in two three-teams pools looking forward first for a place at semi-finals and then, for the title starting on Thursday, November 21st and ending Monday, November 25th.

After the qualifying competition held during several weekends, four teams joint the Organizers, La Union de Formosa and Sarmiento Santana Textiles. The top teams were UPCN (undefeated), Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Personal Bolivar and UNTREF Voley to complete the best six teams of this competition.

UPCN is the reigning champion added to being the only winning team in the present season of a competition, the Master Cup. To complete their background, they won the last three editions of the Argentine ACLAV A1 Seniors' Men League and now they will face in Formosa city, La Union and UNTREF.

At the same time in Chaco province, Sarmiento will host in Resistencia the teams of Personal Bolivar and Ciudad de Buenos Aires. In Resistencia the last edition of the ACLAV Cup final matches took place, with the home team winning the Bronze Medal.

Between Thursday and Saturday will take place the two three-teams competition with one match in each venue while on Sunday, the two best teams of each pool will clinch one of the semi-final four places that will take place crossing the pool places while on Monday will take place the great Final match.
