Double celebration for the Argentine U Youth's in friendly matches in Brazil

Saquarema, Brazil, December 2, 2013 - In the last preparation towards the U Youth's Boys South American Championship, the Argentine boys obtained great results in the outstanding facilities in Saquarema, venue where the last official international competition for Argentina of the year 2013 will take place. The light blue - white jersey team overcame in two friendly matches the host team of Brazil. This Wednesday the continental competition will start ending on December 7th.

The Argentine delegation travelled to Brazil on Saturday playing some friendly matches v the host team and defending champion of the first edition of this competition. In both friendly matches - previously settled to be played to 3 sets, the boys coached by Julian Alvarez won 3-0 in the first match (25-21, 25-20, 25-21) and 2-1 (22-25, 28-26, 25-22) in the second one.

The second edition of this historical event for the youngest official teams of each country, that was hosted in its first edition in the year 2011 in Ecuador will see six teams fighting in the preliminary round in an only pool round robin - all against all. Argentina will open their competition during the morning on Wednesday facing Uruguay to play in the afternoon v Colombia.

On Thursday, their program will see them play first v Paraguay in the morning and v Chile in the afternoon while on Friday morning they will play another "classical" South American match v the host team of Brazil closing the preliminary round.

On Saturday, on the last day of the competition, some teams will also have two matches. During the morning semi-finals will take place for the best four teams ranked during the preliminary round (1 v 4 and 2 v 3) and in the afternoon after the match for the fifth place, the bronze medal and the great final will take place.
