The precise moment of the recognition by the COA to Alejandro Bolgeri and Rolando Cholakian

Buenos Aires, Argentina, December 20, 2013 - Each year, the Argentine Olympic Committee in its end of the year party, recognizes several great people in different sports of the country with their Annual Awards to athletes, officials and other people that for a reason shone during their last year of their sport career and among the 2013 prizes, a double pride for the Argentine Volleyball Federation was received when two well known Volleyball officials were recognized by their strong and dedication work in volleyball. This Thursday night, Alejandro Bolgeri and Rolando Cholakian received their prizes.

On one side, Architect Alejandro Bolgeri was recognized through out his path as official after being the President of the Argentine Volleyball Federation (two periods) but also having a strong work at the South American Volleyball Confederation and at the Argentine Olympic Committee.

On the other, Rolando Cholakian received his award as result of his great international Referee work. Among his many international works last year he was part of the London Olympic Games 2012 Referees.

The COA gave awards to different sport great people or activities. To volleyball it is added "The Great Example Sport Act", "Sport and Social Responsibility", "Promotion and Broadcasting of Olympic Activities" and "Women and Sport", completing a total of nine awards. FEVA had named people for six of these prizes.

Among COA Regulations it is settled that added to the Awards, the background of all these people will be handed over to the International Olympic Committee and to the International Fair Play Committee to be considered among the international awards they hand out.
