Villa Gesell, Argentina, January 10, 2014 - The Argentine Volleyball family is in mourning at this moment due to the tragedy that happened at the resort city of Villa Gesell this Thursday, when a fatal lightning strike on the beach killed Irustia Augustine, 17 years old (and a promise of the grass-root teams of his province, San Luis). Other victims of the accident were also young volleyball players, Prixcila Ochoa and Nicolas Ellena.

The Argentine Volleyball Federation is in deep mourning and stands next to their families and friends hoping a quick recovery for those that integrates the wounded payroll.

Agustin Irustia, native of San Luis was 17 years old playing for Club Lafinur and the Province Team. Agustin was the sun of Fabio Irustia, his coach at the team and President of the San Luis Volleyball Federation. He participated during the last years of National Championships and Argentine Cups wearing this club or his province jerseys. His father, Fabio, 45, is president of the Volleyball Federation of San Luis and integrates payroll wounded. Last night, seven people were admitted to the hospital Arturo Illia Gesell, two of them in serious condition. His mother and Fabian Ochoa, father of Priscila, and some of their small brothers and sisters are among the injured people.

Priscila Ochoa, also from San Luis, 16 years old, died this Friday morning and was also a player at Lafinur Club. Her family was taking summer holidays at Gesell resort together with Irustia family. Priscila was the daughter of Fabian Ochoa, also coach of Lafinur and National Referee.
