Argentina leads the Men's Ranking and is near Brazil on the Women's

Montevideo, Uruguay, February 13, 2014 - Argentina arrives to this 3rd stop of the South American Beach Volleyball Tour 2014 in an outstanding place. This next weekend Pocitos, Montevideo's one resort will receive the best teams of the Continent. With Chile's stop, Argentina leads the Men's ranking while stands second and very near Brazil, on the Women's.

The ranking adds this season's performances and among the men's teams, Argentina won a Gold Medal in Viña del Mar (Ian Mehamed-Julian Azaad) and a Silver Medal at the first stop in Macae (Pablo Bianchi-Facundo Del Coto) adding a total of 380 points on top of the ranking followed by Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and so forth.

These two outstanding light blue - white teams will represent Argentina in Montevideo, February 14th - Sunday, February 16th.

Among the Women's, the Gold won by Ana Gallay-Georgina Klug obtained last weekend in Chile meant 200 points and now Argentina stands on the second place with a total of 340 points, that also include the fourth place won by the girls in Macae. Only Brazil, with 380 points stands over Argentina.

Gallay-Klug will also represent the country in Montevideo together with Virginia Zonta-Julieta Puntin as second Argentine team.

The South American Ranking adds the points of each of the teams representing the country at each stop without being important each pair result.
