Buenos Aires, Argentina, February 26, 2014 - With the presence of FeVA President, Juan Antonio Gutierrez; one of its Vice-Presidents, Juan Angel Pereyra; the President of the Tucuman Volleyball Federation, Jose Luis Mendoza and part of the Argentine Beach Volleyball Team delegation, this Tuesday was officially presented the South American Beach Volleyball Tour stop that will take place in the city of Tucuman, April 11th - 13th.


The competition will be carried out in four fields to be built specially for the event. The official announcement done by Gutierrez, Pereyra and Pablo Bernardi, Director Coach of the Argentine Beach Volleyball Teams, well sparred by the Olympic Ana Gallay player. On the event were also present for the Tourism Tucuman enterprise Bernardo Racero Aragon; its President together Nicolas Aieta, Sale Manager of Hilton Garden Inn Tucuman (Marketing enterprise).

“It is very important to add as venue international volleyball competitions in Tucuman Province. We are very happy to host this stop, where today we received the most warm welcome and support of the local Media, of the local Government and the Marketing Enterprise" expressed Gutierrez when talking to the Media. At the same time, Bernardi felt surprised when the venue was confirmed. "When they told us that we would play in Tucuman we felt very happy because this new venue that opens itself for beach volleyball will be used in the future also for national competitions. Such an important event that will qualify for the Pan-American Games is very important" added the coach.

Racedo Aragon emphasized that the paper of the province that each year overcomes itself and bets to international events as a massive broadcasting tool is outstanding. "Tucuman is a continuous venue for different international events. This time over 64 matches will take place among the best South American Beach Volleyball players on both genders. We feel very proud that we were chosen to organize such a competition held by the Argentine Volleyball Federation supported by the Tucuman Volleyball Federation" . He also mentioned the volleyball important tradition of the province marked by the presence of Pereyra, one of the most experienced international referee of the World.

The competition will gather the best teams of Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Brazil, Uruguay, Peru, Venezuela and Colombia broadcasted by an international sport television channel.
