The Brazilian got revenge over Gallay-Klug after Montevideo stop

Lima, Peru, March 2, 2014 - Argentina keeps adding medals and Podium places at the South American Beach Volleyball Tour. Once more, Ana Gallay-Georgina Klug, the premier Argentine Women Team, played the grand final match of the competition in Lima and after a very hard match were defeated by the Brazilian Fernanda Berti-Elize Maia 1-2. Among the men's tournament, Pablo Bianchi-Facundo Del Coto finished in the fourth place.

After finishing in the fourth place of the first stop of the season, Gallay-Klug always participated of the final match winning two consecutive Gold Medals, the last one in Uruguay over Fernanda and Elize, but this time the Brazilians had their revenge and won the gold 2-1 (21-17, 8-21, 15-10).

Both semi-final matches ended 2-0. Gallay-Klug overcame Venezuelan Agudo-Brito 21-16, 23-21 and the champions left on the way Andrea and Claudia Galindo from Colombia that at the end won the Bronze Medal.

At the men's, Bianchi-Del Coto fought against the rivals Villafañe-Hernandez from Venezuela but they were defeated in a tie-breaker definition by 21-19, 17-21, 15-13.

On the other semi-final the Chilean cousins Marco-Esteban Grimalt overcame Allison Francioni-Guto Carvalhaes from Brazil by an easy 2-0. The Brazilian pair then faced Bianchi-Del Coto for the Bronze Medal winning 2-0 over Argentina (21-17, 21-14).
