"Las Panteras" towards their first demanding 2014 international calendar competitions

Buenos Aires, Argentina, March 6, 2014 - This Thursday, the Argentine Women's Team that will participate at the 10th South American Games 2014 in Santiago de Chile left Buenos Aires to join the Argentine Volleyball delegation that will represent the country (indoor both genders and beach). Las Panteras (The Panthers) coached by Guillermo Orduna will compete March 8th - 12th.

Indoor volleyball will be played at Polideportivo Ñuñoa Gym with the girls stepping first to leave then the venue for the men's teams. At the women's competition there will be six countries competing for the new title, playing all against all, round robin: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay and the host team of Chile.

Argentina will be at the opening match of the Games, at 16.00 local time on Saturday, March 8th facing the strong Peru's team. (Complete fixture)

In the South American Games background history, Bolivia, Peru and Brazil won gold medals. The last one in Medellin 2010 was for Brazil, the most powerful South American Team and one of the bet of the World.
