SOUTH AMERICAN GAMES INDOOR WOMEN'S VOLLEY: ARGENTINA 2 - BRAZIL 3

Santiago, Chile, March 11, 2014 - In the most tied match of the competition of the 10th South American Games Indoor Women's Volleyball held in the city of Santiago, Brazil and Argentina faced each other during five sets in the third date at Ñuñoa Sport Centre won by Brazil by the minimum difference in the tie-break set. The final result was 3-2 (20-25, 25-22, 16-25, 25-22, 17-15).

This Tuesday Argentina will look forward to celebrate a new victory over the demanding host team of Chile, that stands undefeated and leader of the round robin series, all against all.

Argentina got the lead in the match twice but the Junior Brazilian Team coming from behind in both cases forced the tie-breaker definition. In Medellin 2010 they won the Gold Medal.

Now Argentina stands behind Chile and also Brazil with the host team winning all three matches in straight sets and therefore standing on top of the ranking. Colombia celebrated its first victory while Uruguay and Peru stand on the bottom. Brazil also won its three matches but lost two sets tonight against Argentina.
