Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, May 12, 2014 - The Argentine team, Ana Gallay-Georgina Klug showed an outstanding performance along the Open Stop of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour held in this beautiful beach of the country of Mexico, as in Fuzhoa, China, finishing at an historical fifth place for Argentine Beach Volleyball Women pairs. They were overcome by the Brazilian [2] Agatha-Seixas by 1-2 (21-18, 15-21, 10-21) in a terrific tie breaker match that lasted nearly one our.

This stop added 300 points to their World Ranking and lots of new experience and growth in their development.

In Pool F, the Argentine team finished with three victories out of three matches qualifying directly for the Second Round of the Main Draw. First they defeated Behrens-Seyfferth [GER] 2-1 (21-17, 19-21, 15-2), then it was the time to overcome the Canadian Seguin-Wilkerson also 2-1 (19-21, 21-17, 15-9) to finish over Mersmann-Schneider, also from Germany 2-0 (21-17, 21-18).

The Argentine Men's pair, Pablo Bianchi-Julian Azaad finished their participation at the 2nd. round overcome by the German Dittelbach-Koreng 0-2 (21-17, 21-18). Their performance was more than positive as in Pool B they were overcome by the Chinese CH. Chen-Li 1-2 (134-21, 21-15, 12-15) but then recovered v the host pair of Revuelta-Cardenas 2-0 (21-19, 21-15) finishing their pool participation overcomed by the winners of the Argentine Grand Slam in Corrientes 2013 by 0-2 (20-22, 11-21). The light blue - white team finished 9th winning 240 points and 2,000 US Dollars in their first international participation of the season.
