Buenos Aires, Argentina, May 19, 2014 - The Argentine Volleyball Federation Beach Volleyball National Secretariat announces two changes with reference to the Argentine Beach Volleyball Tour 2014, in the most federative and longer season ever played in the country. While the stop in La Rioja was suspended a new stop in Catamarca will take place.

FeVA officials waited until last moment prior to suspending La Rioja stop due to the sport facilities needed at the stop. The same was programmed May 23rd - 25th.

Meanwhile the stop programmed for Catamarca, as the Organizer requested, was changed for next July so that it will take place at the same time as the National Poncho Party, a celebration very important for the whole province. The same will take place July 11tth - 20th and therefore in the near future the Beach Volleyball Secretariat will announce on what date between those days will take place the beach competition. It will be the 44th most important cultural expression of Catamarca province.

Until now, the Argentine Beach Volleyball Tour had 11 stops plus one South American Tour stop in an historical season. The stops were carried out all over the country including: Santa Fe, Cerrito (Entre Rios), Rada Tilly (Chubut), General Cabrera (Cordoba), Las Grutas (Rio Negro), San Luis, Tunuyan (Mendoza), San Carlos (Mendoza), Corrientes, Goya (Corrientes), Resistencia (Chaco) and San Miguel de Tucuman.
