SOUTH AMERICAN BEACH TOUR IN MEDELLIN

Medellín, Colombia, May 30, 2014 - Expectation is over and in the city of Medellin started the beach volleyball party of the Continent with the best players of South America: 16 men's pairs and 16 women's pairs (7 men's and 6 women's pairs are local) started to compete for a new title. Pairs from the home country of Colombia added to visiting pairs from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay. At the women's competition the Argentine duel between Zonta-Puntin v Hiruela-Verasio was won by ARG 1 (Zonta-Puntin) 2-0 (23-21, 21-15). The winners also celebrated over Colombia 5 also 2-0 (21-15, 21-16) while Hiruela-Verasio obtained a great victory over Venezuela 1, 2-1 (21-16, 8-21, 15-7).

Among the men's Mehamed-Del Coto overcame Colombia 5, 2-0 (21-13, 21-15) first and then Colombia 2, 2-1 (16-21, 21-18, 18-16) while Aulisi-Aveiro defeated Colombia 7, 2-0 (21-11, 21-18) to be overcome by Brazil 2 (15-21, 13-21).
