FIVB WORLD LEAGUE 2014: ARGENTINA READY TO FACE JAPAN

Komaki, Japan, June 13, 2014 - In Japan, far from home, the Argentine Seniors' Men Team coached by Julio Velasco is ready to face in pool D of the Intercontinental Round of the FIVB World League 2014, as visiting team Japan this Saturday at 2.00 Argentine time (14.00 local time) in the first match of the fourth weekend of competition.

This Friday, the light blue - white team trained once more taking part also of the official launching Press Conference and the General Technical Meeting - that open the weekend with the last adjustments taken place.

At the Press Conference held at Park Arena Komaki, venue where both weekend matches will take place the coach Julio Velasco confirmed the goals of this competition: "Each team must find its balance and that is what we are looking at. Our philosophy must be pragmatic. You already know that I take this competition to try and keep making changes as the ones we carried out during the first three weekends in Argentina".

With reference to the local Media on him coaching the Argentine Team, Velasco added: "Argentina is my home. I could not leave this chance pass me without taking advantage of it. It was a very exciting decision over the professional one"

While Argentina will playtwith the 12 player that travelled to Asia, Japan will have two changes with reference to their matches in Argentina last weekend. the wing spiker Tatsuya Fukuzawa suffered an ankle injury training this Friday and the coach Masashi Nambu announced the replacement of setter, Shinji Takahashi will replace Hideomi Fukatsu.
