Uriarte (in the middle of the Argentine celebration) joins the team in Germany

Berlin, Germany, June 17, 2014 - The Argentine Seniors' Men Team arrived to its new Intercontinental Round FIVB World League destination, Berlin this Tuesday from Japan. This next weekend they will play v the demanding local team the two matches as visiting team in the city of Berlin after winning the last four matches (home and away v Japan).

The team coached by Julio Velasco arrived to Berlin this Tuesday afternoon (European time) being hosted at Holiday Inn Hotel thinking on the matches they will play on Friday at 15.00 and on Saturday at 13.00 Argentine time respectively (5 more hours in Germany).

Argentina will step onto the field at Max Schmeling Halle in Berlin with great confidence after winning a total of five matches, two in Japan and two in Argentina's Lomas de Zamora but also one more in Argentina and France - the leader of Pool D stands with 20 points followed by Argentina with 17.

With reference to the changes done by the coaching team, only one player has been changed from last weekend in Japan: Nicolas Uriarte, that travelled directly to Germany from Argentina will replace Demian Gonzalez, that returned to Argentina directly from Japan. Therefore the new Roster includes as follows:

Setters: Luciano De Cecco - Nicolas Uriarte

Opposite players: Federico Pereyra - Jose Luis Gonzalez

Middle players: Sebastian Sole - Facundo Imhoff - Martin Ramos

Wing spikers: Javier Filardi - Facundo Conte - Alejandro Toro - Lucas Ocampo
