The Argentine pair already at the same level of their Grand Prix ever performance

Berlin, Germany, June 19, 2014 - A new great step for Argentina at the most important Beach Volleyball Tour of the World. Ana Gallay-Georgina Klug obtained this Thursday at the Berlin Grand Slam the chance of advancing directly to Round 2 as they topped their pool with a record of 3 victories out of 3 matches.

Therefore, at least they will equal their best ever performance at a Grand Slam finishing 9th if they do not win their second round match.

Closing Pool F, the light blue - white team won without playing their match v the German Bieneck-Grossner, already eliminated and due to injury. Behind them stand the Brazilian Agatha-Seixas and Fendrich-Sweat from USA, two very strong teams that were defeated by the Argentine team.

Now, Gallay-Klug will play at 18.00 local time this Friday with the winners of the match Juliana-Antonelli from Brazil and Day-Summer of USA.

At Shanghai Grand Slam at the beginning of the season, the Argentine obtained the same result, first as top of their Pool and also arriving directly to Round 2, when they finished on the 9th place. That goal is the same they secured already and now they go for more.
