Las Panteras look forward to their fans support to feel really at home

Buenos Aires, Argentina, July 1, 2014 - The Argentine Seniors' Women Team, "Las Panteras" started this week their concentration at Cenard facilities to train looking forward to their participation at the World Grand Prix, the premier annual competition for National Women's Team organized by the International Volleyball Federation that will start for the light blue - white team this July 25th. Las Panteras started training for this very demanding competition that for the first time will host in Argentina, at the new state-of-the-arts stadium in Lomas de Zamora one weekend (August 8th-10th).

As it happened with the FIVB World League 2014 (premier annual competition for men's teams) for the first time at the World Grand Prix, 28 teams will participate of the competition divided in 19 Pools. The title holder and first ranked international FIVB team of Brazil will face USA, Japan, China, Russia, Serbia, Dominican Rep, Germany, Korea, Turkey and Thailand in Pools A to I.

Argentina, Poland, Peru, Puerto Rico, the Netherlands, Canada, Cuba and Belgium will play in Pools J to O and last but not least, Kenia, Argelia, Kazajistan, Croatia, Czech Republic, Mexico, Bulgaria and Australia will share Pools P to S.

Teams have been divided in Pools according to their World Ranking except Cuba and Belgium that went through Continental competitions and Australia that was included as part of the Oceania Development Program.

Argentine Calendar:

1st weekend: Argentina, Cuba, the Netherlands, Puerto Rico (July, 25th - 27th)

2nd weekend: Argentina, Canada, Belgium, the Netherlands (August, 1st - 3rd)

3rd weekend: Cuba, Argentina, Peru, Canada (August 8th - 10th in Argentina)
