Three victories over four matches at he South American Championship

Tarapoto, Peru, July 6, 2014 - The Argentine Youth's Girls Team overcame this Saturday the home team of Peru quite easily even though they had won all first three matches played by 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-17). This third victory secured Argentina the qualification for the World Championship 2015 without waiting this Sunday and last match result. The competition played in an only six teams formula Pool will end for the light blue - white team playing v Colombia this Sunday at 17.30 v Colombia.

Argentina overcame Peru in just one hour and 7 minutes Peru at the Bicentenario de Morales StadiumAriana Macíes topped the score with 13 rallies followed by Candelaria Herrera and Anahí Tosi, with 11 rallies each for Argentina while for the home town, Katherina Regalado topped the Score with 11 points.

The captain of the local team, Lucia Magallanes was upset due to the result v Argentina and added that hey would to their utmost in the last match v Brazil, that tops the ranking with four consecutive matches won.

Even though losing v Colombia on this last match, Argentina will end among the best three teams at the South American Championship with a good record of sets won that allows it to qualify for next year's World Championship.
