The Argentine boys were overcome by Austria in a very tied match

Porto, Portugal, August 2, 2014 - Early morning Argentine time this Saturday, the U 19 Beach Volleyball World Championship first experience for Santiago Aulisi-Leandro Aveiro finished when they were overcome by the Austrian Johannes Kratz-Moritz Pristauz-Telsnigg in a tie-breaker definition. Now for them and Camila Hiruela-Irene Verasio, after this great international experience comes the Youth's Olympic Games Nanjing 2014.

The Austrian pair [11] overcame Argentina in a rainy morning 2-1 (17-21, 21-15, 15-10) after Aulisi-Aveiro won the first set but their reaction allowed them to qualify for the third round leaving the Argentine pair out of the competition.

The Argentine boys finished at the 9th place in the final World Ranking adding 140 points and having won experience in 6 outstanding matches that will help them, no doubt, at the Olympic competition. They topped their Pool C winning 5 matches out of 5 played and lost on the second round (where they qualified directly as best team of the preliminary round) by tie-break.

Now Aulisi-Aveiro and Hiruela-Verasio will travel to Hong Kong together with the coach Mariano Baracetti to join the Argentine Delegation for the Youth's Olympic Games as their most important engagement and dream in their short beach volleyball career.
