Buenos Aires, Argentina, October 8, 2014 - The President of the Argentine Volleyball Federation (FeVA) Juan Antonio Gutiérrez is getting ready for his next trip to Switzerland, as first stop of very important international volleyball meetings that will take him all months on different subjects related to world wide Volleyball.

It will all start at the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) headquarters in Lausanne with the Beach Volleyball Committee meeting Oct 15th - 16th, with FeVA President being one of its members. There, Argentina that is organizing FIVB World Tour Open in Parana for end of the month will participate on the long run decisions, with one of the main topics being a new Grand Slam in South America - the first one ever took place in Corrientes, Argentina May 2013 - for next international 2015 season.

Juan Antonio Gutierrez will then participate of the FIVB World Congress to be held, October 31st - November 1st in Sardinia, Italy.

Last but not least as part of FIVB meetings, on November 13th the FIVB World Council will meet, with Gutierrez being its Secretary.

“It is a very full agenda but vey interesting and full of new challenges. Argentina returns to the Beach Volleyball Tour with Parana´s Open this year and already applied for next year for a very important Grand Slam being proud of having organized the first one that took place in South America. The FIVB Congress is always important as many decisions are taking place and all the information discussed at the same about World Volleyball is more than important and the FIVB World League Council meeting will also be a great challenge as we expect some news. Argentina is proud to be part of the FIVB at different Commissions - Councils and our goal is to keep growing”.
