Parana, Argentina, November 2, 2014 - The Brazilian Larissa-Talita won the Gold Medal at Parana FIVB World Tour Open Stop, that ended without any Argentine pair at the men's semi-final round, after the elimination of Ian Mehamed and the Young Nicolas Capogrosso.

With an important number of fans during the long playing day that started at 9.00 and finished at 21.00, the best beach volleyball of the world was seen by many fans. In another stormy day with lots of rain and cold winds, Brazil won the three medals at stake. Added to Larissa-Talita Gold Medal, Maria Clara-Carol were overcome on the final match 0-2 (16-21, 17-21) winning the Silver one while Lili-Rebecca got the Bronze Medal after overcoming USA Hester-Ledoux in an easy match 2-0 (21-8, 21-16).

Among the men's dream, Mehamed-Capogrosso were overcome by the Canadian Schalk-Saxton 0-2 (16-21, 17-21) in the best all over performance of the Argentine pair in the whole international season.

Mehamed-Capogrosso eliminated in the Second Round the surprise pair of the Preliminary Round, the Young Argentine Santiago Aulisi-Leandro Aveiro, that reached the Third Round undefeated. The final result did not give any chances to their great output 0-2 (16-21, 11-21).

The third Argentine pair at the Second Round, Pablo Bianchi-Julian Azaad, were defeated by the Chilean cousins Marco-Esteban Grimalt, one of the best pairs of the Continent, that today reached the qualification for the great Final match that will close this Sunday afternoon the Parana stop. The match ended 0-2 (13-21, 17-21) with the Chileans then defeating in Third Round the German Poniewaz-Poniezaz 2-0 (21-17, 21-16) to qualify for the fist time in their history for Semi-finals. The final match this Sunday will be live broadcast at 20.15 by the website of TyC Sports.
