Buenos Aires, Argentina, September 27, 2015 - The Argentine Volleyball Federation (FeVA) does not stop working. In times of outstanding Volleyball results that include two silver medals at the U 19 Boys and U 21 Men's World Championship, the Women's Silver Medal at China's Open Stop of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour, the fifth place at the Men's FIVB World Cup Japan and other very good results of all national teams at the different world competitions the work to seed grass-root players does not stop maintaining the results and even improving them on the long run.

FeVA President, Juan Antonio Gutierrez worked very hard this week having meetings in far places of Argentina that include La Rioja, Cordoba, the National Teams Coaches and FIVB President, Ary Graca on his short but intensive visit to Argentina and Neuquen, with the opening ceremony of the Araucania Games as part of the goal of improving and developing volleyball all over the country.

Gutierrez visited La Rioja province meeting with the new City Hall Mayor, Paredes Urquiza, who now is the Province Government Secretary, where they are building a Superdomo with capacity for 12,000 viewers, that promises to be an unique volleyball venue that will open its doors next May 2016. La Rioja officially bet to organize one of the weekends of the FIVB World Grand Prix, the premier annual competition for Women's Team.

In a crowded Press Conference the local authorities handed out the renewed La Rioja Volleyball Federation a site for 99 years so that they build a new headquarters including a beach volleyball stadium to create a new Development Centre in the country. Gutierrez also met with the La Rioja Volleyball Federation Board of Administration. Gutierrez also visited Pampa de la Ciudad, where a unique high standard sport project is being developed for the whole region.

On Friday, Ary Graca, the President of the International Volleyball Federation visited Buenos Aires and together with Turicentro President, Carlos Giani met with FeVA President to talk about the FIVB World Congress that will be held in Argentina next September. At the meeting Ary Graca emphasized the outstanding organizing work of Argentina pointing out the good sport results of Argentine Volleyball supporting FeVA management.

On Friday evening Gutierrez participated of the 50th anniversary dinner of the Cordoba Volleyball Federation giving awards to those members that have dedicated many years towards the growth of volleyball. There they were Fernandez, Reynoso and Contreras among many other important volleyball members.

On Saturday, FeVA President meet with the coach of the Argentine Women's Team, Las Panteras, Guillermo Orduna and with the organizing committee authorities that are planning the South American Olympic Games Qualy that will take place next January in Bariloche.

This Monday and going on with hard work Gutierrez will be part of the opening ceremony of the Araucania Games, as first FeVA President on this event. There, he will also meet with regional authorities to organize and plan volleyball activities for the 2016 calendar and also meet with the Neuquen Volleyball Federation local government authorities.
