FeVA never stops working

Buenos Aires, Argentina, October 21, 2015 - Last Friday and Saturday the Argentine Volleyball Federation (FeVA) enjoyed its regular Executive Committee and Board of Administration meetings evaluating how volleyball is developing all over the country and planning the working strategies to fulfil 2016 goals. With their minds thinking on the sport positive results of this international season and FeVA management all members worked towards the continuity and improvements needed to face the new challenges, with the premier target of the Olympic Games Rio 2016.

As it happens every time they meet, every FeVA area presented their reports (Secretariat, Treasury, Sport Organization and Referee) but over all they all talked about the outstanding sport results of the season, the reports and evaluations of a very intensive organization season (FIVB World League, World Grand Prix, Beach Volleyball South American Final, U 19 Boys' World Championship and the Argentine Cups, among many more different competitions).

FeVA President, Juan Antonio Gutierrez pointed out its very intensive last months agenda that included among other activities: meetings in Neuquen; La Rioja; presence at the Argentine Cups, meetings with NEA, NOA and Patagonia Regions authorities. Presence in Chaco, Corrientes, Mendoza, Salta, at the opening ceremony of the Araucania Games. Also, it was discussed the new method to take new steps looking forward for new strategy partners for each of FeVA activity, the advance carried out to set the working teams for each event and the working equipment for the different beach and indoor competitions held all over the country.

It is the first time in Argentine history that Argentina won two Silver Medals at the U 19 Boys' and U 21 Men's World Championship, organizing the U 19 in Chaco and Corrientes; in a year with two Gold Pan-American Medals, one of them won by the Men's Indoor Team and the other by the Women's Beach Volleyball pair; the return of Argentina to Pool 1 of the FIVB World League 2016; the qualification for both gender Seniors' Teams at the World Cup Japan 2015 with the men's performing their ever best campaign with 7 victories and finishing 5th; added to the fact that the FeVA never stops looking forward to new posibilites of development, adding new participations of teams of all Argentine regions; the chances of organizing new international events, boosting for example, the Doctor Department to control and follow up of all FeVA athletes.

Last, but not least, a video was seen showing a balance of the last management seasons, pointing out the growth of the authorities and management area at international level, with more presence at the South American Volleyball Confederation and the International Volleyball Federation, of course together with great sport season results and outstanding future goals.
