GALLAY-KLUG AMONG THE BEST 4 PAIRS AT THE ANTALYA FIVB BEACH WORLD TOUR OPEN

Antalya, Turkey, October 26, 2015 - Argentine Ana Gallay-Georgina Klug finished fourth at the Antalya FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Open Stop after being overcome by Jennifer Kessy/Emily in a terrific tie-breaker coming fom behind 1-2 (21-18, 14-21, 13-15). Kessy won the Silver Medal at the London Olympic Games 2012.

At semi-finals the Italian Menegatti/Orsi got the ticket for the final match (winning then the Gold Medal) overcoming the Argentine pair also 1-2 (17-21, 21-19, 13-15). Gallay-Klug reached semi-finals undefeated Ana Gallay-Georgina Klug keep growing steadily at international beach volleyball competitions towards their Qualy to the Olympic Games Rio 2016 and for second time at the FIVB World Tour, after winning the Gold Medal at the Pan-American Games in Toronto, they qualified undefeated for second time in this 2015 season for semi-finals, this time at the Open Stop in Turkey. After overcoming the FIN Lehtonen/Lahti [9] 2-0 in third round the Argentine girls will face at 10.00 local time this Saturday Menegatti/Orsi Toth ITA [2] for one place at the Final Match. The first time they reached so far was at the Open Stop in Xiamen, China, winning the Silver Medal.

In the prior Round, Gallay-Klug defeated the French Longuet/Jupiter [15] in a tough tie-breaker. They qualified directly for Round 2 after winning their three matches in Pool C v the host Tugba O./Atasoy [30] 2-0; the Russian Motrich/Makroguzova [19] 2-1 and the Russian Abalakina/Syrtseva [14] 2-0.
