Viedma will host the matches of Defensores, Neuquen Voley, Puerto San Julian and Boxing Club

Rio Negro, Argentina, November 25 - The city of Viedma will host November 27th - 29th the four-teams second phase at Polideportivo Cayetano Arias of the Argentine Men's A2 upgrading League. This time the host team of Defensores de Viedma will try to obtain the qualification together with another of the four teams for the next phase where the best sixteen teams play for the title.

During the official press conference offered by the Club's authorities, its President, Ulises Rost - in charge of making the presentation showed the excitement they have organizing such important competition pointing out that they have a greater chance to qualify as they host the weekend event.

Then, the coach of the team, Enrique Viola mentioned how hard this competition is and that his team must win. Viola also considered that on the last three years, and mainly in this last one, the team had the chance of competing more, meaning that they won in experience and more chances to grow as a team. He added that the reinforcement of two Buenos Aires players is very important, too.

He was very excited about the Bariloche young player's summon, just 17 years old but very talented. The coach pointed out the importance of giving the chance to the province of developing more and more volleyball, taking into account that Defensores de Viedma is the team that represents the region in the last years at volleyball different competitions.

“The province is identifying itself with volleyball day after day and it is always a hard competition but each time we step forward, even though 50 per cent of the teams stand behind, it shows that the matches are very competitive” added Viola.

Rio Negro Sport Secretary, Marcelo Szczygol said: "what we are enjoying today is very important for the whole province and even more for the city of Viedma" showing himself very positive with what is going on with volleyball in the whole area. "Volleyball is winning daily some new players all over the province".

Then, Pedro Pesatti, Province Vice-Governor congratulated the team for playing the second phase and emphasized the importance for the Club including players from the whole province. He agreed with the coach about the importance of the summon of the Bariloche player and that sport is included among the young people that normally have not included sports among their activities. "The value for our youngsters training sports is very healthy and from our government we believe that this sport is one of the investments worth doing it".
