Buenos Aires, Argentina, April 3, 2016 – This Sunday ended the first “Super Stop” in Argentina corresponding to the CSVP South American Beach Volleyball Tour 5th stop held in Moron, nearby Buenos Aires city. Brazil won both Gold Medals. At the women’s competition the title was for Duda – Elize as they overcame the local Gallay-Klug that finished winning the Silver Medal while at the Men’s Guto – Saymon that defeated the Venezuelan Fayola – Tigrito won the title. Nicolas Capogrosso-Ian Mehamed in their duel v Julian Azaad-Pablo Bianchi celebrated the Bronze Medal.

The 6th stop, next weekend will take place in another nearby Buenos Aires town, Vicente Lopez. The results add points to the South American and World Beach Volleyball ranking towards the Olympic Games Rio 2016.

At the closing ceremony of the outstanding event organized by the South American Volleyball Federation together with the Argentine Volleyball Federation, Moron City Hall and the promoting enterprise Imagen Deportiva, were Buenos Aires Province Sport Secretary, Ramiro Gimenez; Moron Mayor, Ramiro Tagliaferro; Moron Sport Director, Gustavo Parodi; Vicente Lopez Sport Secretary, Fabian Turnes, FeVA President, Juan Antonio Gutierrez; Imagen Deportiva President, Guillermo Marin; one of the top players of Argentine Volleyball, Marcos Milinkovic and Moron Sport Direction Coordinator.

This Sunday at last, the sun shone all day with an important number of audience cheering and enjoying all matches. All four semi-finals included Argentine pairs but only Gallay-Klug qualified for the Final match. They defeated Filippo-Valiente 2-0 (21-18, 21-17) but then they were overcome by Duda-Elize by 0-2 (10-21, 20-22).

The closing ceremony with the attendance of the Supervision and Control Committee, Bruno Zubizarreta and the CSV Technical Delegate, Mauricio Levy closed a great party that includes after two days of very bad weather conditions with lots of rain, dancing, music, a huge screen, leds and the support of the local audience.
