Buenos Aires, Argentina, April 9, 2016 – In the second date of the 6th stop of the CSVP Beach Volleyball South American Tour stop being held in Vicente Lopez, nearby Buenos Aires city and without the help of the weather, in a rainy day, the two gender semi-finalists pairs representing Brazil, Paraguay, Venezuela and the host team of Argentina are ready for this Sunday at 10.00 to search for new titles and points to be added to the South American and World Ranking towards the Olympic Games Rio 2016.

The “Super Stop” 2nd venue had rain on the second date while last weekend in Moron, heavy weather conditions and floods stopped matches on the first date. Today, quarter-matches could be played before it started to rain heavily and everything is ready for this Sunday morning with some surprises.

Unusual, no Brazil’s pair qualified for semi-finals while VEN2, Jonathan Golindano-Ronald Fayola eliminated BRA1, Gustavo Carvalhaes-Saymon Santos, winners of the fith stop of last weekend in Moron 2-0 (double 21-18) while VEN1, Jose Gomez-Ronaldo Hernandez defeated BRA2, Matheus Maia-Adrielson Dos Santos in a tough tie-breaker 2-1 (21-18, 18-21, 15-10).

At the women’s competition, meanwhile all four semi-finalists qualified in straight sets with Brazil qualifying two pairs for that instance with ARG 1 facing BRA2 and BRA1 v PAR1.

All Sunday matches will be live broadcast from the main field by the South American Volleyball Federation website (www.voleysur.org) and DXTV channel live will join broadcasting the final matches for Argentina.
