Villa Dora's first title after a hard tie-breaker definition at the Women's League

Buenos Aires, Argentina, April 17, 2016 - In a crowded Gorki Grana Stadium in the city of Moron, Villa Dora overcame Boca 3-2 (18-25, 27-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-8,) winning for the first time the Argentine Women's A1 League playing against the title holder. In a very emotive and excitement match with Boca leading the series 2-1, the team of Santa Fe forced a tie-breaker and celebrated a great victory to write the name of a new champion in Argentine Leagues.

Marcia Scacchi and Micaela Fabiana for the champion and Mariángeles Cossar shone and took the match to the tie-break.

Boca showed their best weapon spike from the start of the match along the two TTO 4-8, 11-16 closing without losing the lead with Cossar and Bulaich great performances.

Boca once more lead on the second set with great output arriving to the first TTO 5-8 but Macies digging gave the tied at 8-8 and the Santa Fe team got the lead at 17-15. Nothing was said as both teams fought each point back to finish by the minimum difference after Boca lead by one point 23-24. With the series 1-1 Boca fought back point-by-point ending the set with a new victory.

Villa Dora never gave up and won the fourth set forcing a tie-break with great forcefulness and without leaving doubts of the title won without losing a single match during the whole season.
