Las Selección Argentina centrada en Vidal

The U 17 Girls World Championship will be held in Argentina

Buenos Aires, Argentina, April 22, 2016 - The Argentine Volleyball Federation (FeVA) has taken as one of its most important targets to incorporate to the development of Las Panteras - the Argentine Seniors' Women Team - the growth of all grass-root girls teams. Therefore during this 2016 year a concentration and evaluation system with the main goal of renewing and adding players to the classical arrival of new players to the Argentine different National Teams has been incorporated.

During this last week a new concentration and evaluation took place in Coronel Vidal, Buenos Aires province, thinking on strengthen the team for the South American Championship. Also as part of the concentration, with local girls took an evaluation of U Youth athletes.

As per Fabian Bochatay, authority in charge of this concentration, with this new system "we pursue the goal of watching and evaluating nearly 500 new players, understanding as 'new ones' those that were never evaluated by the national coaching team. It is a very important path in the development, added to the classical system that gathers players through out their clubs".

Next April 26th will take place the 6th evaluation, always talking of girls born in the years 2002/03 in Ciudad Universitaria (University City, Buenos Aires) in charge of the coach Rodolfo Woelflin.

Mostly players that are 1.80 mts tall and those that have participated of local and province teams without including their height are included in the search.

The 4th campus took place at Club Regatas Resistencia, Chaco with players summon from Formosa, Corrientes, Misiones and Santa Fe north.
