LAS PANTERAS CLOSED ITS FIRST FRIENDLY TOUR IN OLAVARRIA

Buenos Aires province, Argentina, May 28, 2016 - Las Panteras, the Argentine Seniors' Women Team started their very demanding international season with a training tour preparing for their first challenge, the FIVB World Grand Prix and then their historical participation at the Olympic Games Rio de Janeiro 2016 in the city of Olavarria playing a friendly match v Bulgaria this Friday evening.

Estudiantes de Olavarria Maxigimnasio celebrated a great party this Friday to welcome Las Panteras. Bulgaria won the match 0-3 (15-25, 21-25, 14-25) but even though the light blue - white team defeat the audience cheered the girls that showed in a very hard match their effort against a very powerful European team with nearly no mistakes.

The coaching team keeps working towards next weekend Tucuman Grand Prix were they will face Kenia, Dominican Republic and Bulgaria itself, giving all the players the chance to win experience.

All the city of Olavarria moved with the arrival of Las Panteras. On Thursday there was a Press Conference with the assistance of part of the team together with Hilario Galli, Olavarria City Hall Under Secretary of Public Resources; Miriam Mosescu, President of Olavarria Volleyball Association; and Eduardo Pugnaloni, Estudiantes Club President. Later on the day, Guillermo Orduna and all his coaching team lecturer for coaches and physical education teachers and closing the activity of the day, they had an open door training with local audience and media supporting the team.

On Friday Las Panteras movement in the city went on, with the girls participating of a clinic with the students of the Educación técnica No. 2 Luciano Fortabat School first and after morning training and rest, they face Bulgaria in their friendly match supported by the whole city. Now the team will more to Jujuy, where on Sunday and Monday they will face two friendly matches v the Kenia's team and Bulgaria, looking forward on this instance to have revenge v the European girls.
